Undressed Man Rants Inside Hotel Lobby in Quezon City Claiming He Was the “Son of God”
An undressed man went amok in a hotel lobby in Cubao, Quezon City, on an early Thursday morning (February 23, 2023).
According to the security guard and receptionist at the hotel, the suspect went down to the lobby to check out, but he couldn’t provide a key, so they had to make him wait for a while. He was surprised when the latter returned undressed.
“Maya’t maya lumapit siya samin naka-hubo’t hubad so para maiwasang mapahiya siya or baka may pumasok na pamilyang may bata, pinipilit namin siyang pumasok sa gilid. Na parang sasaktan na niya sarili niya, di na namin maintindihan ang sinasabi niya,” said Jolly Arino, the hotel’s security guard.
The police and barangay officials surrounded the man as he returned to his hotel room to wear his clothes. However, he still seemed to be out of his senses. The police couldn’t identify him since they didn’t find any ID on him, and when they asked for his name, he said he was the Son of God.
The authorities also found suspected illegal drugs on his table and a plastic syringe in the garbage. The police still refuse to face the camera while their investigation continues and while they inventory the man’s belongings.
According to the investigation, the suspect’s colleague took his belongings including his identification cards and wallet.
The authorities remained inside the hotel room of the said man for investigation.
