Stephen Speaks Gives Selfie to Traffic Enforcer Over Traffic Violation of Grab Car
Acoustic pop rock act Stephen Speaks shares that he bribed a traffic enforcer with a selfie due to the traffic violation of their grab car.
“Passenger Seat” hitmaker Rockwell Ryan Ripperger and his Stephen Speaks bandmates had an experience in Manila that every renowned person would recognize. The band stated on Facebook that their Grab driver was pulled over by a traffic officer for a violation but was let go in exchange for a favor.
The band couldn’t believe how easily they worked and bribed a traffic enforcer in Manila to take a selfie after being pulled over for a traffic infringement. According to the post, the Grab they were riding in was caught running a red light.
“Our Grab (like Uber) driver just got pulled over in Manila for running a red light, and my tour crew bribed him with a selfie with me to let us go. He said he sings Passenger Seat at the karaoke bar,” read the band’s Facebook post.
“I was like… I can’t believe that actually worked, 😂😂😂😂😂” he added.
As of this writing, the band’s message had received numerous reactions from netizens. Several netizens were amused by their encounter, while others were worried by their criminal deed against the law.
