DARRYL YAP – Seasoned actress Cherry Pie Picache doesn’t want to work with Darryl Yap and the young director has this clap back.
In a previous article, famous drama actress Cherry Pie Picache agreed to portray former first lady Imelda Marcos in a project. But she has one condition should she do this – not with controversial director Darryl Yap.
She firmly expressed, “Depende sa konteksto ng pelikula, sa script why not? Pero by Darryl Yap, no! Ewan ko, may konsensiya pa ba siya?”
In the same interview, she reminded the people of the power of social media. According to her, this should be a tool to encourage other people and not a platform to spread misinformation.
This detail has reached the young director and shared that he has watched a video of her hugging and forgiving the killer of her mother. He couldn’t fathom how she was able to see the goodness of this person but was seemingly blinded to his who is just a filmmaker.
“YUNG PUMATAY SA NANAY MO, NAYAKAP MO. sigurado kang may kabutihan sa kanya—Ako, na gumagawa lamang ng pelikula (na dahilan kung bakit kayo may pelikula) AKO ANG TINATANONG MO KUNG MAY KONSENSYA?” he wrote.
He then added about the possibility of working with her, “At wag po kayong mag-alala; wala naman po akong deklarasyon na gusto ko kayong makatrabaho.”
