Coco Martin Before Success, Cherry Pie Picache Shares Something

Cherry Pie Picache recalls this one moment of Coco Martin before he became a successful actor.

COCO MARTIN – Veteran actress Cherry Pie Picache talks about Coco Martin’s work attitude before he became a successful actor.

It is undeniable that Coco Martin is currently among the most prominent actors in the country. From being a waiter in a famous restaurant, he crawled his way to the top and became the well-loved actor that he is now.

He reached the peak of his success when he did the role of Cardo Dalisay. This role was his character in the historic drama series Ang Probinsyano.

After FPJAP, he stars again in another TV series adaptation of Da King’s classic called Batang Quiapo. He is not aiming to surpass the success of his previous series and if he could, only the viewers can give the official verdict about this matter.

What he promised in doing the series is a success. He will do whatever he can to give success to his new series.

A part of the cast is Cherry Pie Picache and in an interview, she spoke about Coco and his admirable work attitude.

She and Coco used to work in an Indie film called “Foster Child” and from this project, she saw how hardworking he is in doing the job. She knew him back then already and he would accordingly wait for the shooting to finish in a corner. He was waiting for an opportunity to land into whatever role is needed.

The actress narrated based on a report from ABS-CBN, “Noon pa man sobrang sipag na niya kasi magsisimula kami ng alas siyete ng umaga magsu-shooting, matatapos kami, gabi. Si Coco andoon lang sa isang tabi, kaibigan na namin siya, kakilala na. Sasabihin namin, ‘Co, ano ginagawa mo diyan?’ (Sasabihin niya,) ‘Naghihintay lang ako baka kailangan ng talent, maglalakad o mag-aano basta andito lang ako.’ Hindi talaga siya umaalis kaya noon pa man sobrang hard working na ‘yan.”

She feels blessed as she is able to work with someone like him who is dedicated and very committed to his craft.

As an actor, Martin never forgets to give chances and opportunities to the veterans whom some have already forgotten. As long as he can help and as long as the artist is deserving, he will give.
