Fire is one of the most unexpected incidents that put many lives in danger because it could happen anytime and anywhere without noticeable indications. It could lead to a loss of properties and even lives.
Most fire incidents could start with electrical problems, unplugged appliances, and gadgets but there are tons of factors that can cause fire, which is really hard to prevent. It could leave victims with a little to start with or nothing at all.
The Facebook account Gerry Baja reported that a UP freshman student identified as Alexis Aquilino died inside their burning home. The video immediately goes viral online and garnered various reactions from social media users.
According to a resident named Noche Cacas, the fire breaks at a residential area in Barangay Krus na Ligas, Quezon City. He saw the freshman student seeking for help from their neighbors.
Unfortunately, the victim’s mother named Judy Aquilino allegedly stopped her from seeking help and even dragged her into the burning room. The two collapsed and lost consciousness due to suffocation. Eventually, the two died due to the fire.
According to the residents, Judy is suffering from depression. The resident can barely talk to her because of her condition.
UP CSWCD FST Community has also expressed its condolences to the family. The page also gives some details regarding the life of Alexis as a student.
Here is the full post:
Maraming salamat.”
