Heart Evangelista Purchases P400K Sofa For Paris Residence
HEART EVANGELISTA – Kapuso star Heart Evangelista bought a sofa for her apartment in Paris worth over P400K.
Heart Evangelista is the daughter of Reynaldo Evangelista Ongpauco, a Chinese-Filipino restaurant, and Maria Cecilia del Gallego Payawal. Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero is her husband.
Last September, rumors that the Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations was going to live in Paris, France surfaced after she admitted that she is “going through a lot of personal stuff” and that she underwent In vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.
In her Instagram Live in October, Heart Evangelista confirmed that she now has a home in the City of Love. She said, “I just got myself an apartment. I do not really plan to buy anything else because I have all of my nice furniture and I want it to be very, very nice. I am saving up for that.”
The 37-year-old celebrity has been going to Paris several times a year to attend events such as Paris Fashion Week (PFW).

Heart Evangelista has started buying furniture for her apartment in Paris. In her YouTube vlog, the fashion icon toured Saint-German, a famous shopping area in Paris.
There she searched for the “perfect sofa” for the apartment she will live in. She said in the video, “We are going to there to look at nice furniture. I am hunting for the perfect sofa.”
Heart first went around to Cassina, an Italian furniture store that she said she loved as a brand in France because of the quality of their products. She described the furniture displayed at the Italian brand Kartell, as “modern, easy, and chic.”
She also went to Roche Bobois which is also located in Saint-German and said she really liked the Bubble 2 sofa there. “This is the one I want! Actually, I want it all but then this is the one. It’s a confirmation,” she said.
Heart Evangelista said three to four people can fit in such a sofa made from a special Orsetto Flex fabric. A sales representative there also told her that it can be customized with different fabrics. Based on the price tag of an Italian “interior” website, the sofa that Heart liked costs 7,585 US dollars or about P408,100.
“I made up my mind. Budget-wise, it was good. The other one was 600…” Heart said.
