Check Out Manila Philharmonic Orchestra’s Version of ‘Jopay’
JOPAY – Manila Philharmonic Orchestra’s version of the viral song ‘Jopay’ went viral on social media.
The hit song of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) rock band Mayonnaise, Jopay has resurfaced on social media more than two decades after it was initially published. The song appears on the official soundtrack of the 2022 film “Ngayon Kaya,” which stars Janine Gutierrez and Paulo Avelino.
It was made available on Netflix in the second half of 2022, and it has since gained popularity. TikTok creator Kosang Marlon comically performed the song that was extensively circulated on social media earlier this year.
Many online users imitated Marlon’s version of the lyrics of “Jopay,” “Wag ka nang mawala.” Mayonaise collaborated with Kosang Marlon last month on the popular version of “Jopay.”

The Manila Philharmonic Orchestra also decided to share their rendition of ‘Jopay.’ This is indeed the feature in their viral Facebook video this Friday, February 3, as part of the celebration of “Araw ng Binan 2023.”
The Manila Philharmonic Orchestra was a special guest of the celebration at the “Serenata sa Plaza Rizal” on Thursday, February 2 on the aforementioned occasion.
Screams and applause from the young people in the ensemble while playing to some residents of the town of Binan. The video is now viral with over 442,000 views as of this writing.
