A female fan goes viral over hilarious request to Pinoy rock band Mayonnaise: “Jopay na po please bawal po ako gabihin”.
Mayonnaise are a five-piece Filipino alternative rock band, fronted by Monty Macalino and famous for winning the “Red Horse Muziklaban” contest in 2004. The band popularized the song “Jopay”.
The band has released numerous songs and received a nomination in 2007 as Favorite Indie Artist during the MYX music awards. The band has also released several albums and had a few lineup changes throughout the years.
The Facebook page “Mayonnaise” has shared photos of their performance during their gig in Robinson’s Lipa including the hilarious request of a fan. The post immediately spread like a wildfire on social media.
In the photos, it can be seen that the band happily performs in front of a crowd. A lot of supporters took out their mobile phones and take a video. However, one fan caught the group’s attention.
The female fan raised her mobile phone and showed her hilarious request. She asked the band to play the iconic song “Jopay” right away because she is not allowed to go home late. “Jopay na po please bawal po ako gabihin,” the woman wrote.
Meanwhile, the band is having a concert in different parts of the country as a part of their 20th-anniversary tour.
