Finally shutting down the rumors with Albert Martinez, Faith Da Silva sets the record straight.
ALBERT MARTINEZ – This is what Faith Da Silva said about the past rumored romance with actor Albert Martinez.
Faith Da Silva and Albert Martinez have worked together in the GMA show “Las Hermanas” and it was during this time that rumors about the romance between them surfaced online. The issue apparently started as a blind item.
In a previous article, the veteran actor spoke about this and refuted the stories that were going around online between him and the actress who is 40 years younger than him. He is not entirely shutting his doors, especially to someone who would come along and make his heart beat again.
And now, setting the record straight, Da Silva directly revealed the truth.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, she denied having a relationship with him but admitted that she has come to a point of liking him. However, it did not prosper as things were complicated.
“Nagustuhan ko siya kasi nakita ko kung paano niya ako inalagaan and kung paano niya ako ginuide bilang bagong artista ko eh,” Faith added.
According to her, Martinez was very kind and sweet towards her but back then, she felt like he was still madly in love with his late wife, Liezl Martinez.
“I could see and I could feel kung gano niya kamahal ‘yung wife niya kasi ‘yun ‘yung palagi niyang kinukwento,” Faith said. Speaking about their difficult situation, it was due to their huge age gap and this is also one of the reasons why nothing happened.
The “Unica Hija” confirmed that she is currently single quipping, “I am single, very much so.”
