Jimuel Pacquiao Wins Via Unanimous Decision on His 7th Amateur Fight

JIMUEL PACQUIAO – The son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao wins the 7th amateur fight against an American foe in Las Vegas.

For three two-minute amateur rounds, the 21-year-old son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao outlasted, outpunched, and outmaneuvered his larger American opponent Marco Rosales. Pacquiao’s sixth fight was during the “Fights of Fury 8” charity event, where he received a commemorative belt.

Despite his victory, he stays hungry for more. Jimuel Pacquiao, 136-and-a-half pounds, battled a much bigger opponent weighing 148 pounds, just like his famed father, based on the report.

Pacquiao started the fight with a powerful straight right against his southpaw opponent. Meanwhile, his opponent claimed that the fight was tight and that he may have even won.

A thousand people attended the long night of amateur boxing put on by the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, which raises funds for many Las Vegas non-profits. Olympic bronze medalist Eumir Marcial, former world champions Jerwin Ancajas and Marlon Tapales, and top contender Jade Bornea were among those in attendance to support Pacquiao.

After a great amateur debut in Vegas, it may only be a matter of time before Jimuel Pacquiao returns for the big-money contests. By the age of 16, he found a coach at Mataki’s Elite Boxing Gym, started training, and become a fixture within its four walls.

He made his amateur debut at the age of 18, competing five times in the Philippines before relocating to Los Angeles in 2021, where he trains at Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Boxing Club, where his father had trained.
