Donnalyn Bartolome became a trending topic again
Vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome shared a post showcasing her perspective about “binuntis” and she became a trending topic online because of this.
Donnalyn is not a newbie about being the viral topic on social media. In many instances, her social media posts and vlogs caught the attention of many netizens but in a negative way.
She was bashed for her “kanto-themed” birthday party, burnt rice cake, and her so-called positivity post about returning to work after the holidays. The recent one is about her comment on a netizen who got pregnant.
In a now-deleted post, Donnalyn Bartolome shared a screenshot of a netizen’s comment on her post and her reply. The netizen admired the vlogger’s beauty. “Grabe [sobrang] and nyo po. Nakakainsecure po talaga, lalo pag tumitingin na ako sa salamin after giving birth,” the netizen commented.
The vlogger replied that the netizen should think that she must be pretty because she was impregnated. “Ako walang bumubuntis. [rolling on the floor laughing emoji] parang talo mo ako sa ganda huwag ka nang ma-insecure diyan ha,” Donnalyn replied.
She captioned her post with “Maganda talaga pag binuntis [pregnant woman emoji].” The vlogger also encouraged the netizen and all the mommies not to feel insecure because of the changes in their bodies.
Once again, this did not sit well with many netizens and although Donnalyn Bartolome deleted that post already, many netizens were able to secure their screenshots.
Some netizens slammed her “toxic positivity” while there were those who accused her of intentionally this kind of post in order for her to become a viral topic again. Here are some tweets about this recent issue about the controversial vlogger.
As of this writing, Donnalyn Bartolome has not released a statement or explanation yet about her now-deleted post.
