The Marcos Highway, also known as the Marikina-Infanta Highway, Marilaque Road, and Marikina-Infanta Road, is a favorite destination for motorcycle riders. It was a picturesque mountain roadway that connected Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, and Quezon.

On weekends, Filipino motorcycle aficionados and even ordinary people go to the location. Many visitors like relaxing and unwinding at the site, which has a variety of restaurants and other facilities.

Unfortunately, some people regard it as a killer highway due to the high number of accidents in the area, particularly on the twisties or turns. Some of the incidents are the result of “kamote” riders or careless drivers performing inappropriate displays in the region.
