2 Vendors Arrested for Illegal Drugs after Caught at Police Checkpoint

Authorities arrested two (2) vendors after being caught with illegal drugs after they panicked at the police checkpoint.

The sellers from Brgy. After reportedly being captured with suspected illegal substances known as “shabu,” a man from Unang Sigawa, Quezon City, was arrested. This comes after they allegedly panicked at the police roadblock and attempted to flee.

PLTCOL has been notified. Leo Miculob, 41, a young vendor from Malabon City, and Flaviano Dollete, 25, also from the same neighborhood, were arrested, according to Mark Janis Ballesteros, chief of Quezon City Police District station 3 Talipapa. According to Cpl. Neil Christian Fresco, the suspects were apprehended at East Service Road, Brgy. Unang Sigaw, Quezon City.

Fresco stated that QCPD Station 3 Talipapa troops, led by team commander Capt. Leodivico Perez, was in the vicinity when the suspects were discovered riding a motorcycle. Based on the report, the cops demanded the motorcycle driver Miculob’s driver’s license.

They did, however, discover a transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu on his driver’s license. As a result, the suspects panicked and attempted to flee, but were quickly apprehended and arrested by police.

Three little transparent plastic sachets suspected of containing shabu weighing 0.5 grams with a street value of P3,400 were recovered from the suspect. The accused are now being held in a detention center on drug-related accusations.
