Iza Calzado Is Taking a Break from Social Media, Here’s Why
IZA CALZADO – Soon-to-be mom Iza Calzado explained her reason why a social media break for her is important.
Iza Calzado and Ben Wintle married in a star-studded ceremony in Palawan in 2018. They waited for more than three years for their first child.
The Kapamilya actress has been posting practically every day on social media about her whereabouts and the things she’s grateful for since announcing her pregnancy in August of last year.
Iza Calzado released maternity photoshoot layouts last night, one of which got fans nostalgic for her distinguishing role as Sanggre Amihan in the GMA Teleserye ‘Encantadia.’
Her other post made netizens say, “Kamukha niya talaga si Mama Mary,” a line from the 2014 film Starting Over Again.
The 40-year-old celebrity also shared one Instagram story about how grateful she is for everyone’s love and support for their growing family. She wrote: “I am so grateful for everything and everyone. Love and gratitude in my heart.”

Just recently, Iza Calzado has said farewell to her social media followers for the time being as she and her husband Ben Wintle prepare for the arrival of their first child together.
The actress explained her reason why a social media break for her is important. She said that she will take a little social media hiatus to enjoy matrescence, or the process of becoming a mother.
“We humbly ask for love and prayers as we enter this new chapter of our lives. Will be taking a short social media break as I go through matrescence and experience its joys and challenges.”
“We are so excited to meet you and hug you, little one! You are so loved!” she added.
