Chito Miranda shared that this song is three years in the making
Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda teased his new song with rapper Flow G in his recent Instagram post.
Chito and his band already did several collaborations with different artists. In their almost three decades in the industry, they continue to collaborate with new and veteran artists. Previously, the band’s frontman shared that he had a collaboration with Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano.
Chito expressed how excited he is to share the result of his collaborative effort with the veteran performer. Prior to releasing the said song with Gary, Chito already teased another new project.
In his Instagram post on January 25, the PNE vocalist shared photos with Flow G. Chito Miranda revealed that they have been “cooking” this project for three years now. “June 13, 2020 nung nag-message si @plojiflowg sa akin asking kung trip ko ba daw mag-jam,” he shared, adding that last night, they concentrated on finishing this.
After several hours of recording and “tambay,” the song was finally finished. Chito said that they are excited to share this with everyone. “Napakabait talaga nitong mga ‘to kahit mga mukha silang salbahe hehe!” Chito jokingly said.
He also said that Flow G and his team know what they want and they know what they are doing, and they would go for it and have it done. “Sobrang galing nitong mga ‘to, regardless what others say or think,” he said.
Chito Miranda also announced that Flow G, along with Gloc9 and Shanti Dope, will perform at 12 Monkeys on February 10 and this is for Parokya ni Egar’s guitarist Gab Chee Kee who is currently battling a disease. He also promised the fans that they will release the new song immediately after Flow G finishes the mix.
