Minor Student Stabbed to Death by Fellow Student Inside School in QC
A 13-year-old student died after being stabbed to death by a fellow student inside their school in Quezon City (QC).
A grade 7 student died after being attacked by another student inside Culiat High School on Tandang Sora Avenue in the city of Barangay Culiat. The incident occurred in front of the classroom, according to the Quezon City Police District’s (QCPD) Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU).
According to CIDU, the victim and the 15-year-old suspect are both Grade 7 students at the school. According to police, the victim was waiting for his lesson in Room 301 of the school when the suspect approached him and confronted him.
The defendant suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the left side of the chest. According to the report, the suspect escaped following the incident. The student was taken to New Era General Hospital but was declared dead around 6:20 a.m.
According to authorities, his relatives took his body for quick burial in accordance with Islamic tradition. Responding police and barangay public safety officials in Barangay Culiat apprehended the suspect. According to authorities, the incident is still being investigated.
Meanwhile, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte conveyed her condolences regarding the situation. Belmonte said that she has directed the local government’s relevant offices to provide the victim’s family with the appropriate assistance and conduct a comprehensive inquiry.
“We are extremely saddened and horrified by this incident involving two minor students of Culiat High School,” said the mayor.
“The Schools Division Office is requested to review security protocols in schools and implement additional measures if warranted to avoid a repeat of such incident,” assured Belmonte.

Noon pang 1980’s ngyayari na sa mga school yan.. suggest in every school there is not just security post but a police substation or at least assigned police desk in every school para maiwasan ang ganyan…khit dito sa tapat ko na malapit sa school ay may naguupakang estudyante.,kelangan pa ba may magbuwis ng buhay bago umaksyon?mga bagay yan na di nakikita ng mga brgy and city officials
