Rowena Guanzon Dares Alex Gonzaga To Join Dinagsa Festival
ALEX GONZAGA – Former Commission on Elections Commissioner and now Congresswoman-elect Rowena Guanzon invited Alex Gonzaga to attend Dinagsa Festival.
Lipa City Councilor Mikee Morada’s wife Alex Gonzaga, came under fire after a video showed her smearing icing on a waiter’s face during her birthday celebration. In the viral video shared by Dani Barretto on Instagram, the Youtuber can be seen putting the icing on the face of the said waiter who was holding her birthday cake.
Alex’s birthday was held at Joya Lofts and Towers in Rockwell, Makati on Sunday, January 15. Alex’s action drew criticism from a large number of people.
Alex Gonzaga was criticized for her “lack of class,” “rudeness,” and “bastos” behavior. The actress’s camp has previously claimed that the waiter is Mommy Pinty’s friend, and the two just teasing each other.
On Wednesday, Jan. 18, the actress-host apologized to Allan, and now everything is fine. During the cake incident, Mikee Morada, who was standing behind Alex, also spoke up about the matter. Although Mikee acknowledged that his wife was to blame, he reassured her of his unwavering support.
Mikee further emphasized that Alex had admitted to her mistake and had apologized to “Kuya Allan” for it. As their former experience of losing their child was still fresh in their minds, he added that some of the harsh accusations directed at his wife were already going below the belt.

Alex Gonzaga was invited by the feisty ex-commissioner of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Rowena Guanzon to her birthplace of Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, where the Dinagsa Festival would take place on Sunday, Jan. 29.
She concluded her tweet with the hashtags “rude” and “looks down on the poor.”

The Lamhitanay, often known as “smudge,” is the festival’s culmination, during which attendees use various colored latex paint to smudge each other’s faces.
