Mikee Morada Assures Wife Alex Gonzaga of his Support amid the Bashing
ALEX GONZAGA – The actress-vlogger reacted to the post of her husband, Lipa Councilor Mikee Morada, who admitted her fault but assured his support.
The viral cake issue earned actress-celebrity vlogger Alex Gonzaga backlash from the netizens on social media. Everything happened amid her 35th birthday celebration.
As salubong to her 35th birthday, a party was held in a restaurant in Makati City. It gathered the family and closest friends of Alex. They sang a birthday song for the actress and there was also a cake with a candle.
The cake was held by a waiter, who is now identified as “Allan”. After blowing the candle of the dessert, Alex Gonzaga playfully tapped the top of the cake with her fingers and smeared some icing on the forehead of the waiter who was holding the dessert.
The move of Alex sparked criticisms from many people. She was accused of having “no class”, being rude, and being “bastos”. The camp of the actress-TV host previously said that the waiter is a friend of Mommy Pinty and they’re teasing each other.
Reportedly, the actress has apologized to Allan and everything is okay now. Mikee Morada who was standing behind Alex Gonzaga during the cake incident also broke his silence to the issue. The Lipa Councilor admitted that it was his wife’s fault but assured her of his support no matter what.
Mikee also stressed that Alex has recognized her fault and did the right thing of apologizing for it to “Kuya Allan”. He also cited that some of the negative criticisms to his wife were way below the belt already as the past experience when they lost their baby was still touched.
In a comment to Mikee Morada’s Facebook post, Alex Gonzaga expressed her apology for the pain and embarrassment she caused their family. She stressed that she learned “a hard and important lesson”. She also expressed her gratitude to her husband for helping her become a better person each day.
