The 2023 calendar girl for the brand White Castle is Ria Atayde and here’s her message for the body-shamers.
RIA ATAYDE – Kapamilya actress Ria Atayde is named White Castle’s calendar girl and this is her message for the bashers.
Considered a win for big girls is the inclusion of Ria Atayde among the models that graced the calendar of the White Castle brand. And her inclusion, for her, is “super overwhelming”. She is thankful and grateful to the team behind it for “making and showing that big girls can”.
She’s excited about the campaign because big girls don’t usually get this kind of opportunity.
Glydel Mercado, Lorna Tolentino, Techie Agbayani, Carmi Martin, Cristina Gonzales, Roxanne Guinoo, and Meg Imperial were the models who graced the calendar through the years. In 2021, chef and content creator Ninong Ry became the brand’s first-ever calendar boy and the following year, content creator Sassa Gurl was tapped to be the face of the brand.
And to all the body shamers, she doesn’t see the point of why they have to comment things that make a person sad.
For girls like her, she encouraged them to focus on themselves and turn off unnecessary noise. It also took a lot of time for her to love herself but the key she discovered is to do things to make them healthy just like what she did.
“Love your body and everything will follow. It’s about love. Also, it’s valid na ma-conscious tayo. But you just have to turn off the noise,” she said based on a report from ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, in a previous article, after months of rumors and speculations, actor Zanjoe Marudo finally confirmed that he and Ria are officially together. He confirmed this in an interview noting his awareness of the posts and photos of them circulating online.
“Yes, parang it’s out in the open now, so yes,” he said but when it comes to marriage, he believes that it’s still early to consider it. He is 40 while Ria is 30.
