Celeste Cortesi Receives Heartfelt Message From MJ Lastimosa
MJ LASTIMOSA – Pinay beauty queen MJ Lastimosa posted a heartfelt message for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi.
Before the Miss Universe 2022 grand coronation night, Celeste Cortesi was selected as one of the top 10 contestants, along with Indonesia, Mexico, and Colombia by international pageant publications. She was an absolute stunner in the swimsuit competition during the preliminaries.
The 25-year-old beauty queen flaunted her “Celestial Walk” on the stage while wearing a pink two-piece swimsuit. She also wore a cape made by children during her outreach in Marawi last year.
Celeste Cortesi was also a head-turner during the evening gown portion of MU preliminaries. She donned a sparkling couture gown designed by LA-based Filipino fashion designer Oliver Tolentino.
Many Filipino pageant fans were dismayed by the result that even in the Top 16, the Philippines’ bet was not included as they believed, she did a good performance during the prelims. Celeste received heartfelt messages from her fellow beauty queens like Catriona Gray and Pia Wurtzbach.

Just recently, Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa also shared a heartfelt post on Instagram dedicated to Celeste Cortesi. In her post, the former beauty queen expressed nothing but gratitude for the Fil-Italian beauty queen.
The 35-year-old celebrity also included a hero’s quote about making a difference.
“I was thinking long.. trying to find the perfect words to somehow make everything seems okay, the words to somehow filter what people say, the words to somehow comfort you, hug you and make you feel okay. And I finally did, I whispered it to your ear while the warm hug lingered, I’m glad I was able to.”
