Former Maid Compares Previous Salary P4,500/Month to Current Wage
A former maid goes viral online after sharing her previous salary worth P4,500/Month: “Gising 4am tulog 10-11pm.”
A Facebook user named Leizl Deinia has shared her past work experiences and compared her previous and present salary. The post immediately spread like a wildfire online and elicits comments from netizens.
Deinia started to work as a housemaid way back in 2019 earning P3,500 per month. She needs to wake up as early as 4:00 am to cook breakfast and was just using an automatic washing machine to do the laundry.
However, Leizl said that she is struggling with her sleep schedule. The maid usually sleeps around 10 to 11 pm. She has two rest days per month. the latter even asked advice from the online community if she must find another job.
In 2022, she is already earning P4,500 but continues to pray that she can find another job with a bigger salary.
In 2023, the former maid was able to find a job with P12,000 salary per month. Deinia did not disclose her current job.
“Kumbaga po may bibigay muna si God sayo ng medyo mahirap na task bago ka makarating sa mas magandang blessing, while nasa mahirap pa ako stage ng buhay , yung faith ko po ay nasa kanya parin, until now na nailagay nya ako sa magandang trabaho,” Deinia said.

Okay lang nman ganyan sahod sa umpisa, ang importante, may pangarap kang iangat ang sarili mo, walang masama sa pagiging housemaid. Ako sobrang proud ako na jan ako nag umpisa without sahod pa nun kasi 12 years old pa lqng ako at wala pa ko alam sa gawaing bahay, tapos nung natuto ako, dinahuran ako ng 1500 then 2k..kaya pinush ko mag tuloy ng pag aaral kahit hanggang high school lang..
