Here’s Video Of Celeste Cortesi Crying While Leaving Miss Universe Stage
CELESTE CORTES – The video of Celeste Cortesi crying while leaving the Miss Universe stage broke the hearts of the netizens.
Before the Miss Universe 2022 grand coronation, Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste has always been included in the “final picks” of pageant vlogs and websites.
In Missosology’s list, Amanda Dudamel of Venezuela is at the Top 1, while Cortesi is at number 2. In Pageantology, the Pinay beauty was in the Top 9, but Cortesi was not lucky to reach the Top 16.
The Filipina-Italian beauty queen did not make it to the semi-finals of the 71st edition of the beauty pageant. This is the first time in 12 years that the country did not land a semi-finals spot.
After the opening number of the delegates, the hosts Olivia Culpo and Jeannie Mai Jenkins introduced the Top 16. All Filipino pageant fans were shocked when Cortesi was not included in the list. Among the celebrities who commented on Cortesi not placing in the Top 16 are Vice Ganda, Maja Salvador, Kim Chiu, and Gabbi Garcia among others.

A netizen with the Twitter handle @jpaulryes shared a video of the beauty queen crying while leaving the stage. The video shows how much she wanted to win the pageant after months of hard preparations for the competition.
Lots of Pinoy netizens were heartbroken after seeing the viral video. It came with a caption, “Celeste crying on her way to the back of the stage, we know you deserved better. hugs.”

In the comments section of the video, the online community expressed their heartbreak over Cortesi crying due to the result of her performance. Despite not making it to the Top 16, Pinoys were still proud of Cortesi. Here are some of their comments on the post:
