MMFF 2022 Film “Namudmod Ng Libreng Tickets” According To Ogie Diaz

What is this MMFF 2022 film that gave out free movie tickets?

MMFF 2022 – Ogie Diaz shares a blind item about a Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) film of this year that provided free tickets to moviegoers.

The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this year is seemingly a success. Vice Ganda’s ‘Partners in Crime’ rules MMFF 2022 box office. The Kapamilya comedian has six movies in the top 10 list of all top-grossing MMFF films with 2018’s Fantastica taking the top spot having Php 596 million in earnings.

And this year, his film is on top again. Reportedly based on unofficial results, it raked Php 31 million on its first day.

The 8 official entries are the following:

  • “Labyu with an Accent” starring Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria, ABS-CBN Film Productions
  • “Nanahimik ang Gabi” starring Ian Veneracion and Heaven Peralejo, Rein Entertainment Productions
  • “Partners in Crime” starring Vice Ganda and Ivana Alawi, ABS-CBN Film Productions
  • “My Teacher” starring Toni Gonzaga and Joey De Leon, TEN17P
  • “Deleter” starring Nadine Lustre, Viva Communications Inc.
  • “Family Matters” starring Noel Trinidad and Liza Lorena, Cineko Productions Inc.
  • “Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told” starring Edu Manzano, Aljur Abrenica and JC De Vera, Borracho Film Production
  • “My Father, Myself” starring Jake Cuenca and Dimples Romana, 3:16 Media Network

But just recently, according to a report that Ogie Diaz received, one movie from the official entries that has the letter “M” on its title gave out free tickets to people. A screenshot has been displayed and shown but the title of the film has been crushed out.

“Ayon sa chikahan sa group chat, 9 PM pa ang screening ng tickets na ipinamumudmod. So, they had to wait pa ng more than two hours para sa screening. Eh may kasama pa daw itong softdrink at popcorn pagpasok sa sinehan,” says Diaz.

He then added, “Flop ba itong pelikula kaya namumudmod ng libreng tickets?”

Diaz would just want to think that it has come from a fan or a producer who wanted to crack the top 4 of the entries.
