HOW TO REGISTER SIM CARD GLOBE USERS – Here is a guide on the link and the process of SIM card registration which begins today.

Today marks the beginning of the registration of SIM card in the Philippines. Several telecommunication providers have opened their registration portals for their clients and subscribers. New SIMs that will be sold starting today requires registration for activation.

Where To Go for Globe SIM Card Registration & What Details to Prepare

GLOBE SIM CARD REGISTRATION – The telecommunication giant released a statement regarding the SIM Card Registration which will start on December 27, 2022.

Registering your SIM card is now mandated by law in the Philippines. Following the release of the implementing rules and regulations (IRR), the SIM Card Registration will start in PH tomorrow, December 27, 2022.

When will the registration start?

According to Globe, for both new and existing prepaid SIMs, you can start registering your SIM card beginning December 27, 2022. New SIM cards have to be registered to be activated and used for call, text, and data services.

With regards to the existing Globe Postpaid and Globe Platinum, and Globe Business Postpaid clients of the telco giant, Globe will reach out to you regarding the confirmation of the details you have previously provided and the registration.

What information will be needed for the registration of SIM card?

  • Full name
  • Birth Date
  • Gender
  • Address
  • Government-issued ID bearing your photo
  • Type of government-issued ID presented and ID number
  • Declaration that the information presented are true and correct

List of IDs Accepted in Registering SIMs:

  • Philippine Identification System ID
  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • Social Security System (SSS) ID
  • Government Service Insurance System e-Card
  • Police clearance
  • National Bureau of Investigation clearance
  • Professional Regulation Commission ID
  • Overseas Workers Welfare Administration ID
  • Integrated Bar of the Philippines ID
  • Voter’s ID
  • Bureau of Internal Revenue ID
  • Unified Multi-purpose Identification Car
  • Senior Citizen’s card
  • Person with Disabilities card

Where to go for Globe SIM Card registration?

Globe stated that users of Globe, TM, and Globe At Home Prepaid can proceed to https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg starting tomorrow, December 27, 2022, for the registration.

According to the telco giant, starting January, the GlobeOne app is also eyed to be another platform where Globe users can register.

When is the deadline in registering your SIM card?

Based on the FAQs posted by Globe, “all existing mobile phone and broadband subscribers” have until April 26, 2023 to register. Failure to register on or before the deadline may result to the permanent deactivation of your SIM card.

  42. I have two (2) gov’t. issued I.D.’s , UMID & Pag-ibig. UMID ID is on the list, why is it that the Pag-ibig ID is not on the list. The Pag-big ID is an accepted valid gov’t. I.D. in many financial transactions, and was always a valid ID, in gov’t. transactions. Please include it on the list of ID’s required.

  43. Hi , i am British but i have a 13a Visa and clased as a permanent resadent how can i keep my same number permanently as it is saved in the uk and with the LTO , My Bank and imagration here in the Philippines.
