The much-awaited reunion concert of the hit 90s band finally happened. For two decades, Eheads fans have been wishing for and anticipating their reunion and seeing them perform together once again.
Before 2022 ends, Eraserheads made their fans’ wishes come true. The band performed their hit songs and fans sang along. It was a memorable night for music lovers and fans who have supported the group since it started.
Based on PEP’s Twitter post, Ely Buendia showed gratitude to their fans during the concert. “Thank you for making this happen. We love you,” he said to Eraserheads fans.
Some fans also shared their fondest memories with the band and their songs, just like Twitter user @marudge07 who said, “Omg! Naalala ko bigla yung Cutterpillow cassette tape album ko noon na pinapirmahan ko pa kay Ely Buendia. Yung very casual lang. After ng concert nila noon sa Main Library inapproach namin siya. ‘Uy pa-autograph naman!’ Sabay tawanan hahaha.”
Fans also cheered when Ely encouraged Raimund Marasigan to sing a portion of the song Pare Ko from their album Ultraelectromagneticpop! which was released in 1993.
A netizen shared that when the concert ended, the band members hugged each other as confetti were falling.
