Vlogger Mimiyuuuh Reminisces Days Selling at Baclaran During Christmas
Social media influencer and vlogger Mimiyuuuh reminisces about the days his family is selling at Baclaran during Christmas.
Jeremy Lomibao Sancebuche, commonly known as Mimiyuuuh or Mimi, is a Filipino YouTuber with 4.34 million subscribers as of this writing. Sancebuche rose to prominence after recording a video lip-syncing to ALLMO$T’s “Dalagang Pilipina” as part of a viral video challenge.
Mimi and his family used to market in Baclaran before becoming social media stars. The YouTube sensation returned to his parents’ traditional sale in Baclaran in his recent vlog with his brothers as the Christmas season approached.
He also stated that this is why Christmas was just another day for Mimi’s family. According to him, he used to feel that Christmas was not really meaningful because they were still selling on Christmas Eve.
“I really felt ‘yung Christmas namin dati parang ‘di talaga special. Kasi parang every Christmas parang napi-feel ko po na parang obligated akong mag-work, magtinda kasi nga tutulong kami sa parents namin so ‘di kami nakaka-celebrate ng Christmas talaga,” shared the online star.
“It’s just a normal day,” he described Christmas. Every time Christmas is celebrated, the vlogger admits that he can’t help but compare his family to others.
“Kasi dati naiinggit ako na syempre sa ibang family na nagsi-celebrate talaga ng Christmas; ‘yung talagang may event sila, may program,” he said.
“Kasi since puyat po kami ng [December] 24 kasi nagtitinda kami sa Baclaran [tuwing] simbang gabi. Yung Christmas namin, ikakain na lang namin ta’s tutulog kami,” he added.
Mimiyuuuh stated in his vlog at the time that Lechon manok is special to them for a Christmas celebration. Mimiyuuuh stressed that even if your Christmas isn’t spectacular, as long as you’re together, the essence of Christmas is still present.
The YouTube sensation has also promised to make their family’s anniversary particularly memorable. When he became Mimiyuuuh, he attempted to brighten their Christmas party.
