ARJO ATAYDE – Celebrity couple Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde celebrate their 4th anniversary and here are their messages for each other.
MMFF 2018 film Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles was the film that brought Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde closer to each other. They both starred in this film and their apparent closeness back then led them to what they are now – an engaged couple.
They officially became a couple on December 21, 2018, and this year they are celebrating their fourth year.
On Instagram, the couple shared snaps of them with sweet captions to greet each other. Maine shared a black-and-white photo of them where Arjo was seen kissing her on the head.
The caption simply says: “happy fourth”
Arjo, on his account, shared a photo of them taken during their recent trip abroad. He sweetly wrote: “Happy fourth, my baba! Thank you for everything that you do and for everything that you are. I love you ❤️”
The couple got engaged last July 28, a very memorable date in their story. The actor prepared a grand surprise proposal for the actress which she had no clue of. Arjo’s mom, Sylvia Sanchez, welcomed her into the family and Maine’s Eat Bulaga dabarkads family also congratulated her on this milestone in her life.
In his emotional speech during the proposal, he noted the punches they received when their relationship started. But he’s grateful for the acceptance they have received from their families.
He’s at a point in his life where he is feeling the kind of love as much as the way he feels for her is actually possible.
July 28, 2022, is exactly nine years after she posted her iconic and viral “Arjo cutie” tweet.
