Arjo Atayde talked about the next level of his relationship with Maine Mendoza
Actor-politician Arjo Atayde made revelations about his proposal to Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza that happened last July 28.
Arjo and Maine have been together for more than three years now. Although their relationship confirmation garnered mixed reactions, there were still more people who showed support for them. The couple has proven that their relationship is serious and their loved ones have noticed this as well.
Last month, Arjo finally popped the question. In a recent interview on TV Patrol, the actor-politician revealed that he has prepared for this event for more than a year. He said that he really intended that the proposal will happen on July 28, the day they first met.
The couple shared several photos and videos taken during the event and they have received a lot of support from fans and loved ones. Arjo Atayde said that Maine Mendoza had no idea about the proposal and she was really suprised.
He also shared that before the proposal, he already talked to the parents of her girlfriend as he wanted them to know first. “The parents of Maine are very loving, very understanding, very giving to me ever since and I’m very thankful,” Arjo said.
On the other hand, the actor-politician did not give any details about the wedding. He said that he is letting Maine choose everything. Arjo said that it does not matter to him when or where because this aspect of their union is really up to his fiancee.
“It’s really a matter of us talking. This is a big step in our life, it’s another milestone, eventually have kids,” Arjo Atayde said. Speaking of kids, his mother seasoned actress Sylvia Sanchez is already excited to have a grandchild.
The actor-politician said that he told his mom to take it easy because the proposal just happened recently. Sylvia said that she is thankful that his son introduced to them a kind and respectful woman to be his wife. Before the wedding, Arjo said that he and Maine will travel first.
