Group of Street Carolers Receive Bottle of “Empi” From Store Owner During Caroling
A group of street carolers went viral online after receiving a bottle of “Empi” or emperador light from a store owner during caroling.

Caroling has been already a part of Filipino culture and tradition throughout the decades. Most people enjoy singing Christmas carols and receiving money in return.
Bryanperaltaagbisit, a TikTok user, posted a video of his group singing Christmas carols in front of a sari-sari store. The video quickly goes viral and generates reactions online.
The group can be seen singing Christmas carols in front of a sari-sari store in the video. While waiting for the store owner to give them something in exchange, the group cheerfully sings a song.
The lady owner hands them a bottle of emperador light, which fills the group of street carolers with joy and excitement. Bryan, the uploader, is jamming with his friends when they decide to sing Christmas carols.

The store owner was their “suki,” according to Bryan. The owner presents them with a bottle of alcoholic beverage.
“Syempre imbes na pera ibibigay ni ate e empe na lang kase suki naman kami don pag nag iinom po kami,” Brayan said.
The group visits other houses to sing Christmas carols. The carolers even returned to the store after a few days after receiving a gift from the owner.
