Birit Queen Angeline Quinto is among the well-loved singers in the country. And the one taking care of her for nine years now is her Ate Irene who is from Bacolod. This Christmas, the time for giving and sharing blessings, Ate Irene is the one who will receive a blessing from her – her appreciation for the years that she took care of her.
She stayed with her to take care of her and her family even after her Mama Bob passed away.
In a recent video she uploaded on her YouTube, she took her “angel” to a shopping treat. She established something to light up her energy first by buying gifts for her and her family.
In the video, Angeline and Ate Irene are evidently close. The singer helped her choose presents for her family until she filled the baskets she got for them.
And for the highlight of the video, the real gift she really prepared for Ate Irene is a certain amount she could use to finish her house in Bacolod.
“Sobra akong napa-proud kay Ate Irene kasi nabalitaan ko ngang nagpapagawa siya ng bahay. May bahay na sila dati sa Bacolod pero ginawa nilang semento kasi puro kahoy, sobrang luma na rin,” she before handing her a thick red envelope.
She then added amid stopping her tears, “Lagi akong nagpapasalamat na may Ate Irene sa buhay ko.”
