Student Elicits Comments Online After Posting His Average Grades On Social Media
A male student gives an inspiring message to the online community after getting average grades “my parents are still proud of me”.
A Facebook user named Jonren Antonio shared the photo of his grades after receiving his report card. The post quickly spread like a wildfire online and elicits reactions from internet users.
In the photo, it can be seen that the male student gets average grades for the first and second quarters of the current academic year. Jonren gets 89 as his highest average and 78 as his lowest grade.
Antonio has expressed his gratefulness because his parents are still proud of him although he only gets mediocre grades. The latter also explained that academic grades don’t define a person or his ability.
The student claimed that completing his studies would be a great achievement for him and that being not an honor student is not in his vocabulary. Jonren said that people can’t judge him because of his grades.

“I’m thankful enough that i have this small grades, because even tho it’s not a high grades my parents are still proud of me because they believe that grade doesn’t define who i am and who am i going to be, you can’t judge me because of my low grades, if you think you’re better than me i don’t care as long as i graduated it’s a big achievement for me, And being an honor student is not in my vocabulary, as long as i graduated and finished school i would be more proud of myself.”

Una palang po nangarap na ako na maging engineer even though I’m not that good in math but for now I want to be practical kagaya ng sinabe nila mahirap at magastos magpa-aral ng engineering kaya gusto ko nalang mag criminology or nurse nagugulohan ako sa kukunin ko pero no choice nakita ko rin kasi po yung struggles ng mga engineering students na nakakasalamuha ko sa school namin minsan kasi matanong ako lalo na pag nakita kung engineering student that’s y I need to choose between criminology or nurse pero yun nga lang last week pumunta kami ng kuya ko na criminology student (pinsan ko po) something happened po kasi pero personal napo yun…..
So pagkapunta nmin dun sa hospital pinagmasdan kung maigi work ng isang nurse tsaka doctor jusq lord forgive me ang hirap pala mag nurse lalo na pag kumukuha ng dugo naka 3 ulit pa yung doctor tsaka dun sa NGT shuta po tinawanan ko po pasyenti namin at the same time naduduwal pa ako 🤣🤣🤣 Kaya kinabukasan sabi ko sa sarili ko ano ba kasing pwede sayo,(Di ka pwede sa nursing),(Di rin sa engineering),Sa criminology din nakita ko sa post sa fb na papasok ka sa morge na mag isa for fingerprint😭😭😭…..tsaka meron pang isa Di rin pala ako pwede mag teacher kasi marunong lang akong magbantay ng bata pero yung patience po yung patience🙃🙃🙃..
