Batangas LGU Gives Jovit Baldivino’s Family the Posthumous Award for the Singer
JOVIT BALDIVINO’S FAMILY – The local government of Rosario, Batangas gave the late singer a posthumous award which was received by his family.
Countless hearts were left broken by the sudden death of Jovit Baldivino. The 29-year-old singer died a few days after he suffered from his second stroke and was diagnosed with a blood clot in his brain. He went through an operation but was in a comatose state for five (5) days before he passed away last December 9, 2022.
Jovit rose to fame when he joined the ABS-CBN reality talent search show Pilipinas Got Talent Season 1. He finished his PGT journey as the grand champion of the reality show. It opened him to a lot of opportunities in the Philippine music industry.
Jovit Baldivino was one of the performers in the ABS-CBN Sunday show ASAP. His singing career has helped him build a house for his family in Batangas and give them a comfortable life.

Recently, based on a post of ABS-CBN News on Facebook, the local government of Rosario, Batangas gave Jovit Baldivino’s family the posthumous award for the singer. The award is in recognition of the honor given by the late singer to the city when he won the PGT Season 1.


The wake of Jovit Baldivino was held in their family home in Rosario, Batangas. The family of the late singer opened their house for all families, relatives, friends, and supporters who wanted to pay the late singer their final respect.
Jovit is set to be laid to his final resting place today, December 14, 2022. There will be a mass at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Parish Church and his interment will be at Paradise View Memorial Garden.
