Death of Jovit Baldivino Greatly Saddens Friend and Fellow Singer Marcelito Pomoy
JOVIT BALDIVINO – Marcelito Pomoy revealed his last moment with his fellow singer and Pilipinas Got Talent grand winner at the hospital.
At the age of 29 years old, Pilipinas Got Talent season 1 grand winner Jovit Baldivino died. His deaths is mourned by family, friends, and supporters and a loss to the Philippine music industry.
Jovit had another stroke at an event he attended in the first week of December. According to his family, his CTSCan result showed blood clot in his brain which was considered a sign of aneurysm. The singer went through an operation and he was in a comatose state for five (5) days before he passed away.
Messages of sympathy, love, and support flooded for the family of Jovit amid his passing. Several starts in the showbiz and music industry also recalled their fond times with the singer. One of the celebrities who lost a friend and a brother with the passing of Jovit is Pilipinas Got Talent season 2 grand winner Marcelito Pomoy.
Marcelito Pomoy is vocal about his gratitude to Jovit Baldivino for all the help and support he extended to him when he was competing in PGT season 2. He was one of those who were able to visit Jovit when the singer was admitted at the hospital prior to his death.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, speaking to TeleRadyo, Marcelito Pomoy revealed that he was about to fly to Indonesia when he learned from the fiancee of Jovit Baldivino that the singer was admitted to the hospital. He visited him at the hospital before he flew abroad.
“Nung pumasok ako sa emergency room, hinawakan ko ang kanyang kamay sabi ko, ‘Pre, lumaban ka, hanggang kaya ay lumaban ka. May mga event pa tayo,'” he said.
Based on the report, Marcelito was in Indonesia when Camille Anne Miguel, Jovit’s fiancee, called him and told him that the singer passed away. According to the PGT season 2 grand winner, he was not able to speak right away and only spoke when he cried.
Marcelito stressed that it is painful to lose a friend like Jovit because they are very close. They are even planning for a U.S. tour then but he did not know that the singer was already facing some health problems.
