Marcelito Pomoy Visits Jovit Baldivino’s Wake in Batangas
MARCELITO POMOY – The Pilipinas Got Talent season 2 grand winner revealed and explained why he cannot attend the burial of Jovit Baldivino.
The sudden demise of Pilipinas Got Talent season 1 grand champion Jovit Baldivino broke a lot of hearts most especially his family and friends’. The singer died at a young age of 29 after suffering from stroke in the first week of December and being diagnosed with blood clot, a sign of aneurysm, as per the Baldivino family’s official statement.
It was the 2nd time of Jovit to experience stroke when things led to his death. Amid the recovery process after his first stroke last November 22, the singer was invited to a Christmas party by his friend and he was not able to refuse the request of his fans for him to sing. It was despite the advice of the doctor for him not to sing or do exhausting activities while he was recuperating.
After singing three (3) songs, Jovit was rushed to the hospital. According to his family, he had stroke and blood clot was found. He went through an operation but he died after five (5) days in the hospital.
One of those who are greatly grieving over the death of Jovit Baldivino is Marcelito Pomoy, the Pilipinas Got Talent season 2 grand champion. The two (2) singers are very close to each other and the latter is vocal of his gratitude for the support and help of Jovit to him when he joined the reality talent search show of ABS-CBN network.
Recently, based on a video posted on ABN Vlog Channel’s Facebook page, Marcelito Pomoy visited the wake of his dear friend Jovit Baldivino at their family home in Batangas City. Jovit Baldivino’s funeral is set on December 14, 2022.
During an interview with several media reporters, Marcelito Pomoy was asked if he will be there at the burial of Jovit Baldivino. The PGT season 2 grand winner revealed that he really made the most of his visit at his friend’s wake because he can’t attend his burial. Based on the post, Marcelito will be flying to Davao in December 13 and he will have a show there in December 14, the funeral day of Jovit in Batangas.
“Kaya sabi ko, ‘Oh my God ano ba ang nangyayari?’ Tapos hanggang 21 po kasi ‘yung show ko eh so hindi po ako makapunta talaga kaya nilubos-lubos ko na po,” the singer said.
