Jeric Gonzales was asked about his ex-girlfriend
Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales shared that he and his ex-girlfriend beauty queen-turned-actress Rabiya Mateo are still supporting each other even after their breakup.
Jerica and Rabiya announced their relationship early this year through their sweet photos together. Many fans supported their love story but there were also expressed negative reactions, especially when issues surfaced between them.
There was a time when they unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted their photos together. However, rumors surfaced that they got back together and a reconciliation that happened between them.
They denied that they got back together but they are able to maintain the friendship between them. This is what Jeric Gonzales also said in a recent guesting on Kalurks, YouLOL’s online talk show of Boobay and Pepita Curtis.
The actor was asked about the current status of his relationship with Rabiya Mateo. “Okay naman kami. Masaya naman kami. We support each other alam mo ‘yun. No matter what ‘di ba! Dapat ganun naman talaga, e,” Jeric shared.
He also said that he and Rabiya did not stop communicating with each other and this is important for them because, through this, they are able to understand each other better.
Pepita asked Jeric if there is something that he wants to change in his past relationship with Miss Universe Philippines 2020. “Wala, kasi masaya ako sa lahat ng pinagsamahan namin,” the actor answered.
Meanwhile, with his 10-year journey in the entertainment industry, Jeric Gonzales said that a lot of things in him changed. He said that he used to be a shy person before entering showbiz through GMA talent search Protege.
Eventually, he was able to overcome that and through the projects that GMA has given to him, his personality has developed as well as his talent in acting.
