Way back in 2015, a photo of a seemingly ordinary dress breaks the internet and cause an argument among the online community. The simple question regarding the color of the dress makes the internet lose its mind over the garment.
While some claim the outfit is blue and black, others insist it is white and gold. Some folks even switch back and forth between the two or see a mixture. The phenomenon revealed differences in human color perception.

The argument was so intense that some anxious souls claimed to be colorblind because they couldn’t see what the majority saw as blue and black.
However, dress’s retailer confirmed that the color of the “Lace Bodycon Dress'” was actually blue and black. Thus, despite the clothing being blue and black, you mistakenly perceive it as white and gold due to unconscious overthinking.
