Student Sells Graham Balls to Fund Thesis and Lung Problem Medication
A hard-working college student opted to sell graham balls despite his condition to fund his thesis and medication.
Fourth-year college student Francis Noel Soledad gained a lot of fans on social media because of his determination to finish his education in spite of his circumstances. Francis was spotted selling “Graham Balls,” a delicacy, near Universidad De Manila.
According to the Facebook post, Francis is enrolled in a Bachelor of Technology program at the Technological University of the Philippines-Manila for print media technology. He claims that he made the decision to sell graham crackers in order to raise money for his thesis and prescription drugs.
He admitted that he had atelectasis, which had caused one of his lungs to stop functioning normally. He didn’t want to beg, so he had to come up with ways to make money despite his illness.
He also expressed gratitude to everyone who had helped him. Numerous internet users shared the picture, and some even offered to buy all of his Graham Balls.
