VHONG NAVARRO TRANSFER – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) released a statement on the transfer of the actor to Taguig City Jail.
The Taguig City Regional Trial Court Branch 69 has released a commitment order for the transfer of actor Vhong Navarro to Taguig City Jail were the charges against him were filed by Deniece Cornejo. The NBI Security Management Section released a statement regarding the order. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the investigation bureau said that it has received the Order from the Taguig Court. According to NBI, the actor will undergo the mandatory medical exam including the RT-PCR test. On the part of the actor’s camp, the order did not surprise them saying that it has already been there even before they appealed for bail. They currently await the decision of the court for his bail request.

VHONG NAVARRO – The Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69 released a commitment order to transfer the actor to Taguig City Jail.
It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro is currently detained at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) due to the charges filed against him by model Deniece Cornejo. The said cases were about the allegations on the incident that involved them in 2014. She accused the actor-TV host of taking advantage of her at her condominium.
On the part of Navarro, he is standing his ground that he is the victim in the situation. His wife, Tanya, previously said that they really thought that they were approaching the end of the legal battles when they were caught by surprise by the warrant of arrest issued by the court against him. Last September 19, he voluntarily surrendered to the authorities.
Deniece Cornejo’s camp pushes for the transfer of Vhong Navarro to Taguig City Jail as it was where the charges against him were filed. The camp of the actor-TV host want him to remain in detention at the NBI Detention Facility.
Recently, based on an article on Pep, the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69 released a commitment order for the transfer of Vhong Navarro to Taguig City Jail. Citing 24 Oras TV report airing, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said that they are preparing the documents for the transfer of the It’s Showtime host to a regular jail facility.
The actor-TV host has to go through the health protocol requirements before his transfer to Taguig City Jail. The camp of Vhong Navarro has previously requested the Court to allow him to post a bail. Bail hearings are ongoing now and Deniece Cornejo appeared as a witness against the request of the actor-TV host.
