Kean Cipriano Say He’s Not In Good Terms W/ Other Members Of His Former Band
KEAN CIPRIANO – OPM artist Kean Cipriano admitted that he is not on good terms with the other members of his former band Callalily.
Filipino pop-rock band Callalily was formed in 2005. They entered the music scene with their songs “Stars,” “Take My Hand,” and “Magbalik.”
Kean Cipriano has been the band’s frontman for more than a decade. Last June, the singer-actor announced that he has left the band because he wanted to go solo.
Kean Cipriano is now starting a new chapter in his career. He is now the chairman and CEO of his record label O/C Records. He has been working with his wife Chynna Ortaleza to manage recording artists for OC Records Philippines for the past 4 years.

In a one-on-one interview with Ogie Diaz, Kean Cipriano admitted that he’s not in good terms with the other members of his former band.
The 35-year-old musician said the situation might have been different if they had discussed the issue internally to identify its root causes before it exploded on social media and rendered them helpless to act.
“I think ang sad part lang is umabot siya sa point na instead na mag-usap-usap, eh napunta sa social media ‘yung issue kaagad. Do’n kaagad dinala,” he revealed.
“Hindi kami okay. Hindi kami goods, diba? It’s sad na gano’n. Kasi ako naman, i’m always willing to talk, discuss things, gano’n,” he added.
Kean Cipriano did say, however, that the band had a “good run” and believed they were successful as a group. He also discounted the possibility of a reunion with his former group, saying that it won’t happen anytime soon, or tomorrow.
“Hindi siguro. I don’t see it. Not now, not tomorrow,” Kean said.
