44th CMMA recognizes ABS-CBN Station ID, receives Hall of Fame award.
ABS-CBN STATION ID – The ABS-CBN Network wins another award in the 44th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA).
During the 44th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA), the station ID of the ABS-CBN network clinched the Hall of Fame Award. As much as many are aware, their Christmas station ID, old and new, have always been a part of the Holidays in the country.
This tradition of the network has been going on for 21 years already and despite not having a franchise in the past couple of years, they continued this tradition and they never fail.
And just recently, while on the heels of the company’s recent release of their 2022 Christmas Station ID, “Tayo Ang Ligaya Ng Isa’t Isa”, a Hall of Fame prize was awarded to them by the CMMA. The new Christmas song has received over 5 million views in only three days after being posted on several social media platforms.
The Kapamilya Christmas anthems recognized were:
- “Ngayong Pasko Magniningning Ang Pilipino”, 2010
- “Da Best Ang Pasko Ng Pilipino”, 2011
- “Lumiliwanag Ang Mundo sa Kwento ng Pasko”, 2012
- “Thank You Ang Babait Ninyo”, 2014
- “Isang Pamilya Tayo Ngayong Pasko”, 2016
- “Andito Tayo Para sa Isa’t Isa”, 2021
Apart from the Best Station ID award, the station was also able to win other awards such as:
- Best TV Ad (Public Service) for “Sa Likod ng Medalya” featuring Philippines’ first Olympic winner Hidilyn Diaz
- Best Secular Song for “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” sang by Kapamilya singer Angela Ken and written by ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo
- Best Children and Youth Program for Knowledge Channel’s “Ready, Set, Read!”
