Why Vice Ganda was not included in Kapamilya station ID this holiday season?
The absence of Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda in the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2022 was noticed by his fans.
It has been a tradition in the biggest TV networks in the Philippines to create station IDs. Every summer and every holiday season, stars from a network gather together for a music video featuring a new song.
Just recently, the Kapamilya network released the music video of Tayo Ang Ligaya Ng Isa’t Isa, the media company’s song for this season. This was written by ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo. Based on the article in Bandera, this features the biggest stars of ABS-CBN.
Among the Kapamilya talents who were seen in the Christmas station ID were Sharon Cuneta, Piolo Pascual, Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, Moira dela Torre, Regine Velasquez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Sarah Geronimo, Gary Valenciano, and Martin Nievera.
The popular love teams of the Kapamilya network were also featured as well as the cast of the prime teleserye Darna, Joshua Garcia, Janella Salvador, and Jane de Leon. However, there were Kapamilya fans who noticed that among the biggest stars, Vice Ganda was not there.
“Bakit kaya wala si Vice sa CMAS ID?” a netizen asked. A netizen also said that It’s Showtime family should be there. “Dapat kasali ang it’s showtime cast sa CSID 2022!” a netizen commented.
Then, there was a netizen who asked if there is an issue since Vice Ganda did not join his home network’s Christmas Station ID. “Waley na naman si Vice sa Station ID. May issue ba Meme? Abangers pa naman kami sa pasaboy mo,” the netizen said.
As of this writing, Vice has not yet spoken about this matter. Meanwhile, the Unkabogable Star has a Metro Manila Film Festival entry this year with actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi.
