A Facebook user named Kris Girl Ramos has shared the footage of her students rejoicing and cheering during the announcement of awardees in their class. The video quickly circulates on social media.
Ramos who is working as a teacher at Upper Tambler Central Elementary School 1 in General Santos City has filmed the priceless reactions of her grade 6 students as she released their report cards.
In the video, it can be seen that Teacher Kris is announcing the grades of her students. She also announced the name of students who gets an award for getting high grades during the first quarter.
The students expressed their priceless reactions after hearing the names of their classmates with high honors.
“It made my eyes teary po during the announcement because I am very happy with how genuine their reactions were and how they celebrated each other’s small wins,” Ramos said.
Teacher Ramos also clarified that the students and parents give her permission to post the video. The parents were also delighted after seeing their children’s reactions.
“Nakakatuwa lang kasi I always tell them to just do their best every day because though I always remind them that their future is not solely defined by their grades and performance in their studies, but it is lovely to see them doing well in school and making me and their parents proud,” Ramos added.
