PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (November 14)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies will bring warm and sunny condition in most parts of the country.

On Monday (November 14, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone will continue to affect Southern Mindanao and easterlies will bring a fair weather condition nationwide. The Localized Thunderstorms will be affecting Northern Luzon.

The localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao and Aurora.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring similar weather condition Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The easterlies, or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean is prevailing over the entire country.  It will bring a warm and sunny Monday nationwide.

“Dahil sa easterlies, ang malaking bahagi ng bansa ay medyo makakaranas ng mainit na panahon, At sa araw na ito, maganda at maaliwalas na panahon ang mararanasan natin hindi lamang sa Luzon pati na din sa Visayas at Mindanao,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

The weather agency has also warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides may result during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
