PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (November 11, 2022)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that fair weather condition is expected in most parts of the country.

On Friday (November 11, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The Intertropical Convergence Zone will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao and Palawan.

The ITCZ will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rains or thunderstorms over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, and Palawan.

The localized thunderstorms are expected over partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduque.

Pagasa weather specialist Daniel James Villamil said that fair weather condition is expected in Metro Manila and most parts of the country except for isolated rain showers in the afternoon and evening.

“Maaliwalas na panahon ang ating mararanasan, mainit at maalinsangan, simula umaga hanggang sa tanghali. Ngunit mamayang hapon hanggang sa gabi, asahan natin itong mga tsansa ng mga panandaliang buhos ng ulan na dala ng localized thunderstorms,” Villamil said.

The weather agency has also warned the residents in the affected areas of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. Visayas and the rest of Luzon as well as Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions. No gale warning is in effect nationwide.
