ONYOK VELASCO – The basketball game of the Filipino retired boxer goes viral online because of his unusual tactics.

Mansueto “Onyok” Velasco Jr. is a Filipino retired boxer, comedian, and actor from Bago, Negros Occidental, Philippines. He won a gold medal at the 1994 Asian Games and a silver at the 1996 Summer Olympics, the Philippines’ only medal at those Games.

Recently, the Facebook page “Kevs Sports Eye” shared video footage of Onyok Velasco’s unusual tactics during a basketball game. The video goes viral and garnered various reactions from netizens.

In the video, it can be seen that Velasco brings a policeman inside the basketball court and make him a guard. The comedienne received the ball and made a point with the help of the cop who served as his guard against his rivals.

The 48-year-old athlete even passed the ball to the referee and quickly shoot the ball after drawing the opponent’s attention away. The latter threw numerous antiques and jokes, which bring laughter to the audience.

The former actor made points a couple of times, which bring fun to his fellow players and audience. The celebrity looks like a superstar after the game and earned the public’s admiration.

The video resurfaced online after John Amores started a brawl during the NCAA Season 98 men’s basketball tournament. His actions earned criticisms from the online community.

Amores has been hailed as the”Most Violent Player” because of his cruel behavior during the game. NCAA has suspended Amores indefinitely due to the incident.
