Take a look at Onyok Velasco’s Cozy Two-Storey Home in Quezon City
ONYOK VELASCO – Filipino retired boxer, comedian, and occasional actor Onyok Velasco recently gave a glimpse of his cozy two-story house in Quezon City.
Last July, Atlanta Olympics boxing silver medalist Mansueto ‘Onyok’ Velasco Jr. revealed that he did not receive any rewards promised to him after he bagged the medal. He said various individuals promised him a prize but only a few fulfilled their promise.
The Palace immediately reacted after hearing his statement. They called it “kapabayaan” that the athlete was unable to receive the incentives promised to him after winning the silver medal.
Private companies also reached out to Onyok Velasco and gave him cash incentives and a roasted chicken store. On August 23, 2021, he joined Tokyo Olympic medalist Hidilyn Diaz, Nesthy Petecio, Carlo Paalam, and Eumir Marcial in receiving incentives from the Palace.
The 47-year-old athlete was awarded the Rank of Kamagi, Order of Lapu-Lapu, and P500,000 from the office of the president.

Onyok Velasco has not been seen on tv for a long time, so his fans were happy when he joined a segment of Eat Bulaga recently. He played as captain in the “Cash Landing On You” segment of the show.
He shared that he is still busy helping young athletes who also want to become Olympians one day. “Nasa Philippine sports pa rin tayo, tumutulong pa rin tayo sa mga kabataan, sa ating mga future Olympian,” he said.
Before playing, Onyok Velasco showed the Dabarkads the inside of his two-story house in Quezon City. Upon entering, you can see the cozy living room and elegant dining area.
