Male Shopper Airs Dismay Due to Few Grocery Items Worth P1,000
MALE SHOPPER – A male shopper was quite disappointed after he went to a supermarket to purchase grocery items worth P1, 000.
A Facebook user named LordHarvey has shared a photo of the grocery items he purchased at a supermarket worth P1, 000. The photo immediately spread like a wildfire and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the photo, it can be seen that Harvey’s cart contains several grocery items such as rice, canned goods, milk, bread, drinks, snacks, and chicken nuggets. His cart contains typical grocery items that every Filipino buys.
However, Lord Veymont expressed his dismay because his few grocery items exceeds P1, 000. He did not expect his purchase to reach that amount. He is only fending for himself for being an independent person.
The shopper revealed that he usually spends P1,800 to P2,500 when he goes to supermarkets. He just went to the supermarket to buy his remaining needs. The rising prices of basic commodities left him with no extra cash.

“Lagpas ₱1,000 na po ito. And di pa ito yung regular ko. Off-hand purchase lang kasi may kulang. Regular range ko ₱1,800-₱2,500. To think independent ako, only fending for myself, at walang iniisip na iba. What more sa iba na may pamilya at mas maraming financial responsibilities? Needs lang pwedeng atupagin kasi wala nang extra for wants
Ang hirap maging mahirap na pinoy ngayon. And wala naman tayong choice but to get by.
