LTO Officials Gives Grocery Items to PUV Drivers Amid Pandemic
LTO officials have raised some amount of cash and distribute grocery items to the PUV driver in San Fernando, Pampanga amid COVID-19 pandemic.
The Facebook page “Asec. Goddes Hope Libiran” has shared the photos of some LTO officials showing kindness and generosity towards the public utility vehicles drivers. The post garnered praises from the online community.
The officials and employees of Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region 3 have decided to donate some amount and raised fund. The traffic authorities used the amount to distribute relief packs to the PUV drivers.
Regional Director (RD) Ed De Guzman said that the LTO Region 3 conducted the “Bayaning Tsuper” Project” to show love, respect, kindness, and care for the drivers affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
In the photos, it can be seen that the drivers were surprised after seeing the act of kindness of LTO employees. Most drivers said that it was the first time that LTO officials gave them plastic bags containing foods instead of traffic citation ticket.

Sa kagustuhang makatulong sa ating mga kababayan sa gitna ng pandemya, nag-ambag ambag ang nga opisyal at empleyado ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region 3 upang makapamahagi ng mga grocery items sa mga drayber ng pampublikong sasakyan sa lungsod ng San Fernando, Pampanga.
Ayon kay Regional Director (RD) Ed De Guzman, ang “Bayaning Tsuper” Project ay isinagawa ng LTO Region 3 upang maipadama nila, kahit sa munting pamamaraan, ang kanilang pagmamahal at malasakit sa mga drayber, na isa sa mga sektor na lubhang naapektuhan ng pandemya.
Nagulat naman ang mga drayber sa Pampanga dahil ito raw ang unang beses sa kanilang buhay na sila ay pinara ng LTO enforcers upang bigyan ng plastic bag na puno ng pagkain imbes na traffic citation ticket.
