Miss Universe Philippines Opens Applications “Regardless Of Civil Status”

Requirements and qualifications for Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant.

MISS UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES – “Regardless of civil status” – These are the qualifications for joining the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.

In a previous article, former Miss Universe queen Catriona Gray expresses nothing against wives and mothers joining the particular pageant. The Filipina-Australian beauty queen said that it’s just “timely to allow women in whatever capacity to go after the dream of being a Miss Universe”.

But in her own experience, it would just have to be difficult for young mothers to manage their time for the competition and for their responsibility.

And just recently, the MUPH organization finally opened the application and this time, applicants will be welcomed regardless of their civil status.

“The most prestigious crown in the country can be yours for the taking. Bring out the queen in you as we open the application process for Miss Universe Philippines 2023.”

The application form can be downloaded here: https://bit.ly/MUPH2023

The application period will close on January 29, 2023, at 11:59 PM. There is also no height requirement as long as the applicant is a Filipino citizen and between the ages of 18 to 27 years old.

Meanwhile, Filipino-Italian model Celeste Cortesi was crowned as Miss Universe Philippines. She was crowned as the pageant’s winner last April and will be the one to represent the Philippines in the 71st Miss Universe pageant on January 14, 2023, which will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Moreover, the MUO is now owned by Thai-owned conglomerate JKN Global Group with Anne Jakapong Jakrajutatip as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). According to reports, the transaction was valued at $20 million or about Php 1.17 billion.

Jakrajutatip stated that acquiring the organization is a strong, strategic addition to their portfolio when she confirmed this.
