Celebrity mom Andi Eigenmann shared a post about being raised by a narcissistic parent and this came after the “parinig” that her mother veteran actress Jaclyn Jose had.

Just recently, Jaclyn celebrated her birthday. In her post on Instagram, the veteran actress mentioned that her daughter Andi did not greet her. Then, Jaclyn also said that surfer Philmar Alipayo, Andi’s partner, did not greet her as well.

The veteran actress has already deleted the caption that she posted directed to her daughter. Andi and Philmar did not answer that “parinig” that Jaclyn had. However, in a recent Instagram Story that the celebrity mom shared, she featured a video from @the.holistic.psychologist that is being handled by Dr. Nicole LePera.

In the video, a character was talking about being a narcissistic parent. “This is what it is like to be raised by a narcissistic parent,” the caption in the video stated. The doctor wrote this in the caption of the post, “May this validate the experience I know many have lived and few talk about.”

It was said in the video that narcissistic parents are “very emotionally immature.” This came from years of shaming and abuse, which affected one’s self-esteem. Narcissistic parents would have two personalities. At home, they are opinionated, critical, and harsh while in public they are warm and kind.

It was also said that narcissistic parents would blame others for the problems that they have instead of taking responsibility. This kind of parent would also brag about the achievements of their kids to other people but at home, the kids are not receiving the emotional support that they need.

This was shared on a popular showbiz site and netizens expressed various reactions. Some said that they agree that Jaclyn Jose is somehow toxic and narcissistic but some pointed out that Andi Eigenmann should remember that the veteran actress is still her mom no matter what. One netizen said that it is just an issue of a generation gap.
